What is the latest update on hand baggage allowance from the UK?

0

As of January 7th 2008, the ‘one bag rule’ for hand baggage per person has been lifted by some airports within the UK. However some airlines continue to operate a ‘one bag rule’ for hand baggage, as not all airports are able to manage an increase of baggage through the security central search. Thomson Airways and First Choice Airways current policy is as follows: In an effort to ensure we have a straightforward customer proposition we will continue to accept only 1 piece of hand baggage at check in and through Security central search. Thomson Airways & First Choice Airways will continue to offer the passenger their respective hand baggage allowances in terms of weight of bag by airline. More information on baggage guidelines is below.
