What is the latest status of Beeyus proposed coffee plant at Bangalore?
We have appointed a consultant. He is preparing a detailed report of this project. It will cost approximately Rs 80 crore. Once the report is prepared by the consultant, the company’s board of directors will take a final decision on it. What about the proposed right-cum-public issue of Beeyu Overseas? We are going ahead with our rights-cum-public issue. Though we have not yet decided on this size of it, still I believe that it will be somewhere between Rs 5 crore and Rs 10 crore. We have not yet decided on the timing of the issue too, but we are confident of bringing it before Diwali this year. Once, we are through with the issue, our capital base will cross the Rs 15-crore mark and it will make us eligible for a listing at the BSE. At present, our scrips are listed at Kolkata, Kochi and Coimbatore. At present, the promoters stake in the company is 70 per cent but post-issue it might come down. However, we can always increase our stake in the company through creeping market acquisition
