The Triangle Complex Fire was declared 100 percent contained Wednesday after burning 30,305 acres in four counties. The vast area of burnt land stretched from the Santa Ana Canyon to the edge of Diamond Bar and Chino Hills. No homes were lost in Chino Hills despite 13,102 charred acres in the city. Residents and city officials are calling the absence of property loss a miracle. “I think in a situation like this, we are extremely grateful for all of the efforts of our firefighters and law-enforcement personnel and everyone that assisted in a situation like this,” city spokeswoman Valerie McClung said.
