The hospital on Eglin has 55 beds; Fort Walton Beach Medical Center has 100 beds and Twin Oaks Hospital in Niceville has 70 beds. There are an additional 70 beds in the North Okaloosa Hospital. Sacred Heart Hospital, in Pensacola, has approximately 300 beds and is about 60 minutes west of Eglin. There is also a move to get a level-2 trauma facility in the area.
