What is the largest bear in the world?
A Polar bear is considered not only the largest bear, but the largest land predator in the world. However the Kodiak bear which is a subspecies of brown bear that lives in Alaska can weigh pretty close or just as much as the Polar bear. Though the Polar bear is still officially considered the worlds largest land predator mainly because The Kodiak eats more berries and roots, while the Polar bear actually consumes more meat, from marine mammals.
