The Lakes Region Energy Project is a significant upgrade of the network of power lines that supply electrical energy to communities in the Lakes Region. Public Service of New Hampshire will construct an additional power transmission line and upgrade an existing line. The construction will be located entirely within an existing power line right-of-way which runs 13.8 miles from Franklin to Laconia.
