what is the lake level and driftwood situation like during that time?
Jeff, lake level is maintained steady full from Memorial to Labor Day. Driftwood situation depends on the severity of our weather. We just had a warm snap that is really pushing the creeks and rivers. But the lake this year didn’t get too empty. I was up there earlier today and it looks like the lake is actually down a little more than it was a month ago. Maybe they are making room for this new run off from our warm snap. Last Year was the emptiest I have ever seen the lake. Which is probably why you’ve heard more people grumbling about driftwood from last years run more than the year before. I’m hoping that since the lake didn’t drop too much this winter that the driftwood will be minimal.
