What is the lab report format?
In the first week of school, I hand out and explain the lab report format. The students should use this format to design experiments and write-up lab reports. On the MCAS and in high school, students will be expected to know this format. Parts of the lab report are difficult for students in the beginning, such as identifying the independent and dependent variables and the controls. But with practice, the students will excell at it.
