What is The Kresge Foundation Challenge?
The Kresge Foundation in October 2006 awarded a $500,000 challenge grant to support construction of the Wise Campus Center. Receipt of this challenge grant is contingent on the University raising $2.2 million in gifts and pledges restricted to the new campus center. How long will the Challenge last? Norwich must reach the $2.2 million goal by January 1, 2008. Who can help Norwich meet this Challenge? Alumni, businesses, other foundations, and all friends of Norwich University. I only graduated from Norwich a few years ago and I cant make a big gift. Would a gift of $50 or $100 from me really make a difference? Yes, it would. Norwich is particularly interested in alumni who are in their 20s or early 30s helping with The Kresge Foundation Challenge.
