What is the knowledge base difference between Residency and tDPT?
The primary difference between these two programs is that the tDPT has an additional focus on professionalization, leadership and mentorship. This is accomplished through additional course work that focuses on the dynamics of the profession (professional responsibilities, encroachment of practice, legislative issues) as well as theoretical and applied concepts of mentorship and decision making (leadership theories, HOAC clinical decision making algorithm, etc.).
