What is the kindest method of execution?
In my opinion firing squad would be the most humane. Electrocution is barbarous. It should be saved for serial killers and nobody else as it’s painful, mutulates the corpse and the process to be executed is long and rigerous inflicting great mental stress on the executee. The gas chamber takes a long time to die. By reflex the executed will hold their breath and try to beat the execution. The fumes themselves take some time to be lethal. The risk of injuring or killing people attending the execution and or maintianing the chamber is too high in my opinion. Hanging can be rather gruesome. It’s normally a rapid method if done properly but can accidentally behead the executee, eyes get blown out of the socket, improperly done the executee can take several minutes to die. Lethal injection has to be a horrible way to go. First it takes forever to strap you in, then doctors have to break their oath to hook you up which takes forever.
