If a picture displays any of the following characteristics, it may be cancelled for copyright infringement. • Formal poses characteristic of a portrait. • Use of backgrounds typical of professional photos. • The photo was published, such as in a textbook or magazine. • The presence of a copyright notice, e.g. “© Jims Photographer”. • The word “copyright” or “corp.” are on the picture. • The name of a photographer or studio are on the picture. • If the image contains a watermark or notice.
