It then became a plan to convert 4,000 acres. It then became a 1,000 acre industrial park, a 1,700 acre airport, and a 1,000 acre rail-served facility. Transpark promoters say that Bowling Green is running out of industrial development land, so they propose to leapfrog eight miles to the northeast.
