What is the Kabataang-Pilipino Endowment Fund?
The KP Endowment Fund is a permanent fund bestowed upon Kabataang-Pilipino, Inc. in order to help carry out its mission. All donations made to the Fund are pooled together and invested on risk-free, interest-earning investment instruments such as time deposits or treasury stocks or bonds. The interests earned from this investment are then used to cover the costs incurred by KPI in carrying out its work. Since the principal is left untouched and additional donations are likewise re-invested again to profitable and safe investments, the endowment fund becomes a lasting source of fund to KPI thereby helping it to continue do its work.
