Generally, Geographers work in many areas of planning – urban, environmental, regional, infrastructure (like transportation); they work in natural resources management, such as Forest Service, water planning and management, habitat management; they work in a great variety of GIS-related positions, which is the fastest growing field in Geography; and many others.
