What is the Job Evaluation Process?
A series of jobs from across all Departments and levels, including full time and part time jobs, male and female dominated jobs and jobs that have a large number of employees will be evaluated first. These jobs will then be used to ensure the consistent application of the evaluation process across all jobs in the council. For jobs which have a number of employees in post e.g. caretaker, social worker, representatives will be selected at random to take part in the job evaluation process.
