What is the job description of the Intentional Interim Pastor?
1. Prepare the church for its next chapter of ministry. 2. Deal with any hurtful or painful issues that have been previously covered up or gone unresolved. 3. Visit and shepherd each person/family to hear their story. 4. Help the board and committees develop their servant-leadership skills and build a leadership team. 5. Develop an strategic intentional agenda focusing on: • Issues needed to be addressed • The Lordship of Christ, • Who we are in Christ, • Our behavior as outlines in Galatians 5:22 (Fruit of the Spirit) • Cautions, admonitions, exhortations, or encouragement needing to be spoken in love to the church body. 6. Train the board and congregation in the principles of Biblical peacemaking and church leadership. 7. Train the congregation and leadership to re-examine their biblical core values, mission, and vision. 8.
