WHAT IS THE JAZZERCISE CLASS FORMAT?
Each class is 1-hour long and includes a 6 to 8 minute warm-up, 25 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity followed by toning/strengthening routines with weights and, finally, a stretch/cool-down period. The instructor faces the class and is elevated on a stage for everyone to clearly see each move. There is no memorization of routines – each class is taught in a “follow-the-leader” style, enabling you to begin anytime. Class Formats: Jazzercise: Each 60 minute class offers a blend of jazz dance and exercise science, choreographed to todays hottest music, including Top 40, jazz, country, funk and classics. Easy-to follow, fun choreography includes a gentle warm-up, a 30 minute aerobic workout, muscle toning and strengthening segments with weights and a stretch finale.
