No where did I find any information as to what the jacket is made of. Lightweight jackets come in many different materials. I have two currently that accept waterproofing, but the zippers in both have worn out (will not stay zipped), so I need to replace them or get new zippers. I suspect new zippers would cost more than a new jacket.
