The eight schools in the Ivy League are Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Penn, Brown, Columbia, and Cornell. The Ivy League is prestigious because it does not allow additional members beyond the original eight, and because all of the schools in the Ivy League are top-notch.
