What is the itinerary for the week-long AHEPAcademy on Campus program?
Assuming the Sunday to Saturday schedule set forth above, Candidates will be expected to arrive on Sunday afternoon, to check into their dorm room, and to be available for icebreakers and other events on Sunday evening. AHEPAcademy will officially open on Monday morning with a team building exercise and other activities designed to build trust and communication among the students. Instructional days will feature with speakers in the morning and the afternoon with off-campus trips in the Washington, DC area in the afternoon. The evenings at AHEPAcademy on Campus will feature structured social programs on campus or off-site that will help refine Candidates’ etiquette and social skills to improve their social and communication skills, self-esteem, confidence, ability to make new acquaintances, conversation and listening skills, knowledge of the etiquette of public places, and the skills they will need when attending college and job interviews in the future.
