The U.S. News & World Report rankings of veterinary schools are based on responses from three individuals from each of the veterinary colleges ranking other institutions. The rankings are subjective. They are based on a potential 84 votes; it is not clear whether all of the 28 institutions surveyed participated. The ISUCVM was ranked 17th. Kansas State University CVM was ranked 20th.
