The ISTPA is an international alliance of business users and technology providers who wish to clarify and resolve existing and evolving issues related to security, trust and privacy. Within ISTPA there are four working groups, namely Privacy Framework, Privacy Tools and Technology, Legal and Regulatory Requirements, and Outreach. PT&T is focusing on new privacy protection techniques through the creation of privacy tools and technology research projects to carry out objective and unbiased testing and subsequent evaluation of the results. This work is intended to assist with the understanding of the relationships between security, privacy and trust. Within these projects consideration is taken of the emerging globally diverse regulations and legislation and compliance of the same.
