What is the issue relating to speed limit enforcement on the A35 in Chideock?

0

A Crown Court judgement has found that the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO), which defined a length of the A35 in Chideock, West Dorset, as subject to a 30mph speed limit, was defective between 1997 and 2007 as it mistakenly referred to the A35 junction with “Seatown Road”, when it should have been “Duck Street”. Unfortunately, as a result of this historical clerical error in the TRO, the speed limit was not able to be enforced at that point on the A35 between 1997 and 2007.
