What Is the iShares ® MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund?
Each fund share represents a beneficial interest in the iShares ® MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund (which we also refer to as the fund), which seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of publicly traded securities in emerging markets, as represented by the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. The MSCI Emerging Markets Index was developed as an equity benchmark for international stock performance. It is designed to measure equity market performance in the global emerging markets.
