The Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) has three levels: • The Lower Level is for students currently in grades 4-5 • The Middle Level is for students currently in grades 6-7 • The Upper Level is for students currently in grades 8-11 The test is used by prestigious private middle and secondary schools, boarding schools and military academies to help determine a student’s admission qualifications. The test has five sections, including Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement and an Essay. The essay is not included in your test score, but a copy is sent to the schools you request to receive your scores.
