What is the International Dental Studies (IDS) Program?
International Dental Studies (IDS), is a 2-year Program for foreign trained dentists to ensure that the participating dentist attains the same knowledge and skills as graduates of accredited programs and to familiarize the international dentist with the oral healthcare delivery system in the United States, the techniques and procedures used by U.S. dentists, standards of oral healthcare and the characteristics of the oral health needs of U.S. population. International dentists who would like to practice as a dentist in US must complete this two-year training program (and related exams) in order to be qualified to receive dental license from corresponding state.
