When the Preview button is released, this function displays on the rear LCD monitor a temporary view of the image as taken with the current settings. By changing the exposure, white balance, Dynamic Range Optimizer settings, etc, the function allows you to verify the effects of these changes on the composition. By releasing the shutter after confirming the effects of the settings, the image taken will reflect these setting.
