Any student enrolled at UCSD is subject to the universitys Intellectual Property Policy. If any intellectual property is developed by a student during the course of their research or enrollment at UCSD, the ownership of that intellectual property lies with UCSD. Student inventors enjoy the same rights and benefits as do faculty and staff inventors.
