When you choose to have Knology high-speed Internet installed in your home, an appointment will be made to have an installer come by to place a second cable jack in the room where your personal computer is located. There is an installation fee for this service as well as a fee to install the jack. This cable line connects to a cable modem, a small piece of hardware that will sit near your computer.
