All testing is done at the initial on-site qualification and again at installation time. The installation typically calls for the mounting of the Subscriber Module and Reflector Dish onto the customer’s building. Very similar to the set up of a sattelite cable TV dish. The cabling used to connect the SM unit is standard outdoor-grade CAT5e. There is a surge supressor installed between the Subscriber Module and the point of entry of the network cable into the building to protect the internal equipment from a lightning strike. As far as references go, ICDC Wireless has been endorsed by the Delaware County Emergency Services center as they were our first customer on board. The 911 Center uses the ICDC Wireless connection as part of their mandated Homeland Security requirements. ICDC WIreless provides a route of communications alternate to a land based line.
