What is the incentive for employees to use the SLWOP program?
• Vacation/PTO and sick leave benefits continue to accrue as if the employee were at work during SLWOP use. • Stability pay eligibility and seniority also continue to accrue. Finally, the County will make one contribution toward health and/or Basic Life insurance premiums that otherwise would not have been made while on leave without pay status.
