What is the Inbox Rendering SDK?
Using the BPEL for People Inbox rendering SDK, you can provide a custom solution for the Inbox. A custom inbox replaces the basic ActiveVOS Inbox or parts of the Inbox, such as the Task Detail Work Item tab or simply the Inbox logo. When a People activity executes, the Task Details XSL rendering is processed by the ActiveVOS Inbox application. The server looks up the People activity before executing it to see what the rendering hints are. If you have included customized presentation and commands XSL rendering files for the Task Details, the Custom Task Details page is rendered. If you can program in XSL, using the SDK is a fairly straightforward way to modify the Work Item or entire Task Details page. The default page is rendered using XSL technology, and you can modify the existing XSL transforms to create a custom HTML look and feel on a task by task basis.
