What is the importance of this doctrine to the Catholic faith received by the apostles?
-A doctrine is not a product made in factory. It is the expression of the living faith of God’s people. What we see in the Virgin Mary is God’s final triumph over the world. God made man came, not to stick a patch on a body that doesn’t work properly, but but to claim back the person inside, to resurrect him or her. The Immaculate Conception is a the completion of God’s work in the Incarnation. He found someone who allowed herself to love. On February 10 in Lourdes a meeting on the theme “The Immaculate and health” took place. Father André Cabes and Doctor Patrick Theiller, head of Lourdes medical bureau both took part.
