What is the importance of instructional documents?
Instructional documents are used to detail how a particular job function is done. These documents are procedural and focus on daily and job specific functions within a company. To achieve certification, these documents do not need to be incorporated into a company’s Quality Management Application, however, if a company chooses to include such documentation, it is important to remember that these smaller documents will be evaluated in an audit and looked at closely by the registrar.
