What is the implication on employee morale?
As with any management technique, there may be the occasional naysayer and employee who feels threatened by anything new. However, experience shows that BPT helps to provide a highly integrated organization where everyone knows his/her responsibility and how they fit in and contribute to the vision, mission and value proposition. It also reduces, rather than increases the numbers of projects employees are responsible for. This provides an uplifting environment that gives each employee purpose and direction. Furthermore, the methodology is rooted in using all available employees, not laying them off. Those organizations that have little integration to begin with typically feel the largest benefit in employee morale.
