Dr. Wang was the first surgeon in Tennessee to perform the implantable contact lens (ICL) surgery. ICL is a new technique that inserts an implant inside the eye, in front of the natural crystalline lens, to treat high ranges of refractive error. Pateints whose refractive errors are outside the range of LASIK are candidates for this procedure.
