Jess, Hard to say, one effect is to make travel cost higher, so online gambling over in person gambling may be a bonus. People may also seek diversion from the situation, or have free time (due to job loss). The fact that people may perceive having less disposable income would tend to discourage gambling, online or in person. It may lead to a net increase, but I can’t give any statistical proof…just a guess….
