What is the impact of employing overseas workers to Australians?
There is minimal disruption to domestic employment levels. Growth in Australia is increasing and has created a shortage of skilled and experienced workers. Employers require many skilled workers to ensure projects go ahead; where these workers cannot be found they are sourced overseas. Youth unemployment is not affected as employers are looking for skilled and experienced workers.
