What is the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (IAAS)?
IAAS is an accreditation scheme for solicitors and their employees who provide immigration and asylum advice and services. It is not mandatory to be a member of the scheme however membership is a requirement of the Legal Services Commission (LSC) to be eligible to work and receive payments for work carried out under a Legal Aid contract in the immigration category.
