A1. The first step of the process is to have the authorized officials identity verified and attested to by a notary. The authorized official becomes the Identity Proofing Point of Contact for the providers office. The Point of Contact verifies and attests to the identity of the PSP Office Contact and users of the portal. All users at a providers office must have been identity-proofed before access can be given to the website. This is a CMS requirement.
