We are doing everything we can. Many people are working behind the scenes to resolve this crisis, and we are grateful for their efforts. We appreciate the ongoing work of national and local authorities to find a positive outcome for Eugenio, as they did when his colleagues, Mary Jean Lacaba and Andreas Notter, were still being held hostage. It’s simply not helpful, at this stage, to discuss our ongoing efforts in-detail. Our priority is to ensure that Eugenio remains safe and that he is let go immediately and unconditionally. Suffice it to say that we are doing everything in our power to make this happen and to enable him to return home, safe and sound, to his family.
