The DEP is designed to help directors enhance their knowledge of necessary boardroom practices. While many governance programs, seminars and text emphasize compliance practices, participants in the DEP also focus on board effectiveness – governance practices designed to enhance and protect shareholder value.The DEP covers the governance issues directors face each time they enter a boardroom or a committee meeting. The program is delivered in four three-day modules. Modules include roundtables, board simulations with guest CEOs and real-time case studies, all in the context of current, real-world issues.
