What is the IASTED policy on self-plagiarism?
If a paper that has been submitted for an IASTED conference has been self-plagiarized, depending on the severity, the following measures may be taken: • The conference chair may require the author(s) to include a full citation to the original paper and make modifications to the submitted paper to include a discussion of the previously submitted paper; or • The paper will be rejected.
