What is the IASTED policy on plagiarism?
IASTED has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. Not only is it a serious breach of professional and ethical conduct, it may also be in breach of copyright and intellectual property laws. IASTED employs anti-plagiarism technology and will investigate every allegation of plagiarism. If a paper that has been submitted for an IASTED conference has been plagiarized in whole or in part the following measures may be taken: • The paper will be rejected; and • The author(s) will be prohibited from submitting papers to IASTED conferences in the future. All authors are deemed to be responsible for the content of the papers that have been submitted to IASTED.
