What is the HR System?
The HR System is the computing technology used for administering payroll, benefits and other activities that support Brown’s faculty, staff and student workers. It also maintains more than 100 fields of employment-related data for faculty, staff and student workers. This data is critical for the delivery of pay and benefits as well as reporting, decision-making and planning for a variety of employment-related functions such as recruitment and hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, etc.
