What is the hospital policy concerning overnight visitors in the Intensive Care Unit?
• One parent or family member is permitted to stay overnight in the pediatric ICU as well as on the regular pediatric floor. Two people are permitted in the ICU at one time. There are no limitations to visitors on the regular floor unless care of other patients in that room is disrupted. After surgery, patients over the age of 19 may be admitted to the adult ICU. Due to privacy issues concerning other adult patients, the visiting hours are more restricted.
