What is the Hoover Floormate?
The Floormate is a very scaled down version of the large (size of an office desk or bigger) commercial floor cleaners that you&146ve probably seen used in office buildings or supermarkets. The commercial floor cleaners dispense water and a detergent, and vacuum up the dirty water in conjunction with a squeegee — all in a single step. Both type of cleaners, the commercial and Floormate cleaners have two tanks; clean water dispenser tank and a dirty water pickup tank. The Floormate is the size of a small upright vacuum cleaner. Like the commercial floor cleaners, the Floormate has two tanks, a squeegee and a vacuum pickup. The Floormate has 6 rotating brushes. I have not found any competitive commercial or household wet hard floor cleaners with similar functionality on the market. Assembly Assembling the unit requires screwing in 3 Phillips screws.
