What is the Honor with Books program?
Individuals can honor the memory of a loved one or celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or graduation by making a donation to the Library in the honoree’s name. Individuals making the donation can request that the Library use the money to purchase a specific book, or a title by a particular author, or purchase material related to a certain area of interest. In addition, donations can be designated for a particular branch Library. Material purchased with the donation will receive a specially designed bookplate inscribed with the honoree’s name.
