What is the Homework Folder and when does it come home? And, what is the difference in brown folders?
Your child will also have a homework folder labeled “HOMEWORK” that will come home each Monday and should be returned with completed homework on Friday. If your child completes and returns his/her work on Friday, a sticker will be placed on the Homework folder. We would like for each child to have a regular size backpack that will be used for transporting folders and miscellaneous items to and from school. When homework has not been assigned, a flyer will be sent home on Monday. Homework is generally not assigned for short, holiday weeks such as Thanksgiving. We will keep the homework folder at school during this break! The difference in the two folders is that the Important Papers envelope goes back and forth to school each day. The Homework Folder goes home on Mondays and is returned to school with completed homework on Fridays.
